Today was the deadline for turning in auction items so now its just a matter of getting everything posted! Thanks to Walmart on Garners Ferry Road for donating a Uniflame gas grill! We also have some awesome grilling accessories to go along with it.
And, the office smells sooo good thanks to the gift basket donated by Cool Beans! Delicious coffee, 2 mugs, cookies and a "lunch for two" gift certificate - yum!

If you are a South Carolina baseball fan, you're gonna love this donation - a framed copy of The State paper's front-page coverage of the Gamecock's 2011 College World Series win and a Ray Tanner autographed baseball!

It is hard to tell from the image but the frame is gorgeous - raised Gamecock logos surround the full-color matted article. Our thanks to Webb Rawls Galleries for this beautiful item.

What food & beverages will be served at this event?

This year we will be serving hot steamed oysters, homemade chili, fresh bakery breads and chilled beer and wine, bottled water and sodas. Thanks to donations from Edible Arrangements, we will also have several delicious fruit arrangements for your enjoyment. Parents have volunteered to bring homemade cupcakes, brownies and cookies again this year - available in the auction room for a small donation.

New this year - a contest to determine who makes the "Best Homemade Chili" complete with a prize to the creator. This should be quite a competition - there will be over 30 different pots of chili to choose from! If you think your chili has all the right stuff to win, sign up sheets can be found on the school doors.

Laurie Berkner Band donates autographed CDs

Laurie Berkner was the first children's singer ever to appear in music videos on Nick Jr. An award-winning, best-selling children's author and songwriter, she has penned two books and released six CDs as well as a quadruple-platinum-selling DVD.
